Welcome back! I hope that everyone had a wonderful Christmas break. It can be difficult for children to adjust to going back to school after such a long break. During our first week back, we will be working on getting back in to our classroom routine. We will also begin to talk about our five senses. Starting the week of January 12th, we will have Show and Tell every Wednesday and Thursday to help us learn about our five senses. Students may bring one item from home on these days to show and, with the teacher's help, describe to the rest of the class. If your child forgets to bring something from home, he/she may choose an item from our classroom to show. Those students attending Tuesdays only may bring his/her Show and Tell on that day.

Upcoming events
January 14th and 15th: Show and Tell
We will have Show and Tell every Wednesday and Thursday for the remainder of the school year. Tuesday only students may bring Show and Tell Tuesdays.

Bible Lesson
Our Bible lesson will focus on the verse "God loves a cheerful giver" (2 Cotinthians 9:7). We will hear the story Jesus told about a woman who gave two coins in an offering to God.
Our action bible verse is "God made the world and God made me. When I share what I have it makes God happy".
