Power Packs Project: (Fridays from Sept - Early June)
Each week the Power Packs Project has volunteers distribute bags of food to help ease hunger during the weekends (when school is not is session). All the participating children rely on free school breakfasts and lunches for their nutritional needs. Grace Church has partnered with the Power Packs Project to distribute food to families from Elizabeth Martin Elementary School and James Buchanan Elementary School. Each Thursday and Friday from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM volunteers from Grace Church pick up the food from a distribution center in Lancaster, repack the food for each family, and then distribute the food to the families at J. Buchanan Elementary School and E. Martin Elementary School. If you are interested in volunteering to help with this project, please contact Pastor Shannon. For more information about the Power Packs Project, click here to check out their website.
Good News Club: (Tuesdays Oct.24-Nov.24, Feb. 23-Mar.30)
Each week volunteers teach children at Lampeter Elementary School and Hans Herr Elementary School after school on Tuesdays. Volunteers lead the children in games, songs, stories, memory verses, and lessons that teach them about God's Word and how God can change their lives. Volunteers are needed to help reach these precious children. If you are interested in volunteering to help, please contact Pastor Shannon. Training is provided by Child Evangelism Fellowship of Lancaster County. For more information about CEF, check out their website here.
Lancaster County Youth Intervention Center (Sunday Evenings)
Each week volunteers minister at the Lancaster County Youth Intervention Center through Unified Ministries. Volunteers reach out to troubled teen boys or girls who find themselves in the Lancaster County Youth Intervention Center. Volunteers play games and lead a discussion time on Biblical principles and truths. Volunteers also have a chance to interact one on one with teens during the teens' free time. This is a great opportunity to live out Matthew 25:36 and visit those in need in prison. If you are interested in being part of this exciting ministry, please contact Pastor Shannon.
Grandparents' Lunch at Elizabeth Martin - Friday, March 26th
Volunteers are needed to help with the Grandparents' lunch at Elizabeth Martin Elementary School on Friday, March 26. Volunteers will be needed to help set up, serve lunch, and clean up. This is a great opportunity to impact our world by serving children and families.
Easter Egg Hunts - Saturday, April 3rd
On Saturday April 3rd, we will hold our annual Easter Egg Hunts at 10:00 AM and 1:00 PM. We plan to fill and hide over 5,000 eggs again this year. You can help with this annual event by donating eggs, filling eggs, helping hide eggs, being part of our program before the hunt, help with crowd control, set up or clean up. If you are interested in helping plan this event or our program before the hunt, please contact Pastor Shannon.
Peace Officer Appreciation & Memorial Service - Sunday, May 16
On Sunday, May 16, Grace Church will sponsor our 26th Annual Peace Officers Appreciation and Memorial Service. We invited the local community to join Grace Church in honoring those who are serving our Pennsylvania communities and in honoring those who have fallen in the line of duty. Volunteers are needed to help publicize, plan, set up, clean up, and program this exciting event. If you are interested in helping, please contact Pastor Shannon.

On Tuesday, May 25, you have the opportunity to minister to the students at Elizabeth Martin Elementary School by helping with their field day. This is an outside morning event. Exact times will be announced closer to the date of the event. Volunteers are needed to help staff the different game stations for field day.
