Sunday Mornings

THE MISSION OF A SUNDAY MORNING: Entrusting the Riches, Heritage, and Legacy Of Scripture and the Body of Christ to the next Generation

At 9:00 am on Sunday mornings in room 206 our middle school and high school students congregate. During this time they are equipped and entrusted with the riches of Scripture, and the legacy of the Body of Christ, so they might then be qualified to teach others as presented to us in 2 Timothy 2:2.

We are passionate about equipping each young person with a thorough understanding of what Scripture is about and why it is important. In addition, we equip students to understand and be able to defend why Scripture is still relevant and authoritative in today's culture. Sunday morning is focused on instilling the importance of knowing Scripture into the hearts and minds of our students.

Biblical illiteracy is abounding. Ignorance about the legacy of Scripture and the body of Christ is quickly growing. Our goal is for a student leaving the arms of our community to have a complete understanding of God's passion for relationship with them; and a thorough understanding of the Biblical narrative from Genesis to Revelation (how it all connects). As a result they will be able to give a reason for the hope they can profess due to their relationship with Christ by the power of the Holy Spirit (1 Peter 3:15).
