Sunday Mornings
WHERE DO MY CHILDREN GO?
During the School Year
On Sunday mornings at 9:00 am, children age 3 through sixth grade meet for age-appropriate Sunday school classes. Children age 3 through 4th grade meet on the lower level of the building, while grades five and six meet on the main level in Room 205. A complete classroom schedule can be found on bulletin boards throughout the building.
During the 10:30 a.m. service, children age 5 through grades 4 are invited to Caraway Street on the lower level in Room 107. Caraway Street is a fast paced Children's Ministry program here at Grace. At Caraway Street, puppets and skits are used to communicate Christ and His Word to kids in a creative and interactive way. Each week, the main theme is presented three or four different ways, and the best part is the kids are involved in the process! The common threads presented in each lesson are the subjects of God’s grace and finding our identity in Christ. During the hour, books of the Bible and Scripture verses are memorized and the ABC’s of salvation are taught. Caraway Street is a high energy ministry with lots of music and fun for kids of all ages! In addition to Caraway Sreet we also offer a Sunday School class in Room 104 for children age 3 and 4.
During the Summer
On Sunday mornings at 9:00am throughout the summer months, children age three through sixth grade meet for age-appropriate Sunday school classes, just like the normal school year.
During the 10:30am hour the children attend the beginning of the worship service with their families and are then dismissed during the sermon time for children's church in room 107. Throughout the summer of 2010, the children will be taught Walk Thru the New Testament by Pastor Al and The Bible's Key Visual Names, lead by April Hollinger.
We also offer a 3 & 4 year old's class during the 10:30am service.
